They are both from Tekonsha and the real big thing here is determined on which vehicle you have. If you've got a Trax that is an LS addition, then you'll want to use our harness here on the left. If you have a Trax that's an LT or any other model, you'll want to use the harness here on the right.The only difference between these two modules is the connectors that come included that will plug into the factory connectors on your vehicle. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2018 Chevrolet Trax- Video
Today on our 2018 Chevrolet Trax, we're gonna be taking a look at the Tekonsha T-One vehicle wiring harness for 4-pole flat trailer connector. That's gonna be part 118659.So here's what our wiring's gonna look like once we have it full installed on our Trax. It is gonna stay on the inside of the vehicle, until we're ready to use it. It's gonna provide us with a 4-pole flat trailer connector, which is gonna give us all the required lights to get down the road, like our brake lights, running lights, and our turn signals.As you can see, we're gonna have plenty of room to get hooked up to our trailer. Then whenever we're not using it, you can simply lift open our hatch, and it'll store right down by our spare tire. When we do wanna use it, so long as we stay away from the latch mechanism itself, the weatherstripping here is gonna provide us enough cushion on that wire, where it won't damage it.Our wiring is custom designed, which means it's gonna be specifically made for our Trax. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2017 Chevrolet Trax- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Trax we're gonna be installing Tekonsha's Vehicle Wiring Harness with Four Pole Flat Connector. Part Number 118659. This wiring kit is gonna provide you with all the necessary lighting for your trailer. That includes your left turn, right turn, tail lamps, and brake lamps. This way you'll be compliant in all states.It normally lives inside the vehicle, but can be routed outside just through your lift gate here. You just open it up, hang it over the back, and close it down. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Chevrolet Trax- Video
Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Trax, we'll be having a look at and installing the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with a Four-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number 118659. All right. Here's what are our wiring looks like installed. As you can see, we have an adequate length of wiring to run it outside of our vehicle right next to where our trailer hitch is. We have this nice built-on dust cover here to help protect it from the elements or any dirt or debris, possibly causing a poor connection inside. This wiring harness gives us the bare minimum lighting functions as required by law in order for us to safety tow a trailer. Our green wire here is our right turn signal and right brake light. Our yellow wire here is our left turn signal and left brake light. more
